I started making art at a young age, and was fortunate to have a lot of support from parents and teachers in whatever I chose to try. While studying for an Architecture degree, I discovered the first 3D features in CAD and became obsessed with creating models using the then primitive tools. After graduation, my career eventually became focused on illustration, which used the same tools and skills as the growing video game industry. In 1997, after a lot of self-education and participation in the early online community, I landed my first game industry contract as an animator. Six months later I landed my first full-time job in video games, and it’s been a wild ride ever since.
